There is nothing like Coconut Grove and this hotel was conveniently located for trips to Coral Gables and Lincoln Road.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful.
The rooms need a little TLC to bring them up to par.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mutiny. The staff was outstanding. Find Christina in the restaurant. She is a true gem. The hotel rooms are older and need some work to bring them up to par. The furniture could use some replacement as well. The location is convenient and our view was very nice. With a little TLC, this could be a 4 star hotel. That every room had an en suite kitchen.
Jacuzzi was not as secluded as it could be.

The Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove is an ideal place for long or brief vacations. The en suite kitchen in our room was very complete and the rest of the suite was excellent.

Very nice place but service attitude is pretty bad. No help with bags. Room service doen't answer, then got the order wrong 2 out of 2 times.

The Mutiny was a perfect place to stay. We usually stay in South Beach but decided to stay in the grove and we were very pleased. Close to shopping and restaurants this hotel offered everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It was also convenient to all kinds of things to do. Two thumbs up! ...read more

Spacious room, washer and dryer in room (free), huge closet/storage space.
Room was dusty, kitchen dirty, marble floors in room had dust bunnies blowing across them, shower head was corroded (water flow obstructed).

Hotel required valet parking. Had to pay the attendant to pull my car up 10 feet to the door. Ridiculous! Not good for children! Had to get special permission for a roll-away bed from mgr. (fire code) almost didn't get one. Very uncomfortable sleeping conditions for the children. King bed had crumbs on the sheets. No pop machines had to go to bar and pay an arm and a leg. Excellent location - walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the Grove, spacious accommodations, nice linens, staff very helpful and nice.
Nothing I did not like.

For easy access to the Sony-Ericsson tennis tournament, this was a good choice. We walked to Downtown Coconut Grove and had dinner at a nice outdoor-seating restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the lobby was clean and attractive, and our room was more than adequate. It was so much nicer than a chain motel. We had beautiful weather, which always contributes to the experience, even though that was just luck. I would stay there next time! ...read more
